Match Details:

The 1st game of the 3-match T20I series between Qatar and Jersey will be played at the West End Park International Cricket Stadium in Doha.

The match starts at 6:00 PM local time (8:30 PM IST) (3:00 PM GMT).

Qatar will host Jersey in a 3-match T20I series starting on Wednesday night at the West End Park International Cricket Stadium in Doha. All three matches will be played at the same venue. This series will serve as a warm-up for Jersey who will travel to UAE next week. Jersey will be part of the Qualifiers for Men’s T20 World Cup 2020 which will be starting next week.

The Jersey team, led by Charles Perchard, finished as the table-toppers of the Europe Region Qualifiers in June which sealed them the berth in the main Qualification tournament. No other hand, the Qatar team were the 2nd best side in the Asia-Region Qualifiers. Singapore, who finished ahead of Qatar in the tournament, became one of 14 sides to have a chance of going to Australia.

This T20I series is expected to be welcomed by bright weather. The forecast suggests the weather to be clear and sunny in Doha on Thursday. Hence, there won’t be any rain interruptions.
