On the 10th of October, Former Indian International Robin Uthappa was blessed with a baby boy. The now Saurashtra batsman took to Twitter to announce the name of his first kid.
The Kolkata Knight Riders batting mainstay had been expecting a child since the past few months and therefore had to miss out on the recent edition of the Karnataka batsman.
The Karnataka veteran rechristened the baby as ‘Neale Nolan Uthappa’. In his Tweet, he used hashtags such as ‘Two become Three’ and ‘Batmen and Joker’ to welcome the newest member of their family.
“Our bundle of joy has arrived!! NEALE NOLAN UTHAPPA? thank you for all the love and support!! #whentwobecomethree #batmenandjoker” captioned Robin Uthappa in his Tweet along with a picture of his family.

“I’m not playing KPL for basically two reasons. One is Sheetal and I are expecting our first child and we are really excited about it and the Domestic season begins next month so I want to spend as much time as I can with her because I would be leaving soon for the Domestic circuit and I would be only back in time for the birth of the child,” claimed Uthappa earlier last month.
“Secondly, I want to spend time working on my fitness and health. Like everyone knows its a hectic domestic circuit, we play back to back. I want to make sure I want to go through the whole season staying fit and injury free so that I can build momentum and play really well,” concluded the former Karnataka batsman, looking forward to the current season of Ranji Trophy.
