Rohit Sharma has hilariously trolled the out of favour cricketer Harbhajan Singh for his analysis during the second T20I against New Zealand. The ongoing T20 International series is being fiercely competitive as the Kiwis have made a comeback by beating the hosts by 40 runs in Rajkot. The visitors are proving to be a flesh in the thorn for the Indians who were ruthless in their mega home season. However, the decider in Thiruvananthapuram on Tuesday would make things clear if they would win the series before leaving the country.

New Zealand, after opting to bat first, posted a mammoth total of 196 runs on the back of a stupendous century from Colin Munro. Indian bowlers looked all at sea as the openers of the visitors launched an assault on them. It was evident that the hosts needed a great start from their openers Rohit and Shikhar Dhawan to chase such a huge total. Harbhajan too reflected similar views while doing analysis on a television news channel and urged both the cricketers to repeat what they did in the first T20I.

Such a valid point

The analysis done by Bhajji during the mid-innings was put forward on social media website Twitter by the renowned journalist Vikrant Gupta. He wrote, “Bhajju @harbhajan_singh feels 197 chasable but Rohit-Shikhar have to play out the new ball #BachkeRehna @StarSportsIndia #IndvNZ.” As it turned out, Rohit Sharma and Dhawan failed to provide the required start for the team and were dismissed within the powerplay.

Rohit might have seen the tweet of the Vikrant after the match and trolled Harbhajan in his reply hilariously. His views were supported by the young leggie Yuzvendra Chahal with emojis. Rohit replied, “Such a valid point we didn’t realise.”

The Men in Blue are gearing up for the decider which will be played on Tuesday and would love to set the record straight against the Kiwis and keep them away from winning the series in India.
