Indian opener Rohit Sharma has been in tremendous form in the ongoing ODI series against Sri Lanka. After falling victim to a run out in the 1st ODI, the right handed genius stormed back to form in the most appropriate way. While scored a half century in the second ODI, the batsman took his batting to another level in the 3rd and 4th match by slamming back to back centuries at the island nation.

However, it is a known fact that the Mumbai born star is a highly active personality on social media platforms. Much like his performance with the willow, the cricketer has acquired a large fan base on all social networks for his entertaining posts. We got another example of the same when Rohit Sharma took out time to troll newcomer Shardul Thakur with a hilarious Instagram post.

Shardul Thakur made his senior team debut for India in the 4th ODI against Sri Lanka. While his inclusion in the side was applauded by the fans, the jersey he wore did not go down well with many. Shardul Thakur stepped onto the field wearing the iconic number 10 jersey which was previously donned by the legendary Sachin Tendulkar. Fans all over the country trolled and slammed the youngster for putting on that number and claimed that he does not deserve to wear a jersey of that stature at the beginning of his career.

Rohit Sharma took the opportunity and joined the gang of trollers as he brutally trolled the youngster in his Instagram story. Sharma posted a photo of Shardul and wrote “Hey bro what’s your jersey number??” pointing at the chaos that is going on regarding the issue.
