Former Pakistani cricketer Shahid Afridi has been pretty vocal about the terror attacks that killed over 40 CRPF personnel in Pulwama, Kashmir. He has been defending his country over the issue and is also on the same wavelength with his Prime Minister and World Cup winning captain Imran Khan.

The Pulwama attack has got the whole of India triggered and in a bid to send a strong message to the victim country, Prime Minister Imran Khan spoke on behalf of his countrymen and warned India to not take any action without proper proofs. He also mentioned that his army will not stay silent in the event of an attack from the Indian Army.

“If India retaliates, we will not think and retaliate back. If you (Indian govt) think you will attack us and we will not think of retaliating… we will retaliate. It is easy to start a war but difficult to end it. I want to ask India if they want to live in the past. It’s not in our interests that somebody from here goes out to do terrorism, nor that somebody comes here and does terrorism,” Khan said to the media.

Afridi extends his support to the Prime Minister

After the speech, which received great reciprocation from the Pakistani citizens, Shahid Afridi retweeted his speech with a caption “Crystal & Clear”. While the cowardly attack is completely indefensible, it would come in as a huge surprise if the Indian Government is not retaliating.

Amidst all the chaos that’s happening, some fans spotted the grammatical error that was found in his tweet. He wanted to mention the metaphor “Crystal Clear” but instead wrote “Crystal & Clear”, leaving many Twitter users an issue to mock the former Pakistani cricketer.

The whole issue has now put the India-Pakistan World Cup encounter in jeopardy as many politicians and celebrities have called for the BCCI to forfeit the game. If that is to be done, India will begin their World Cup campaign with a defeat to their name.

Here’s how the Twitter Universe has been reacting to Afridi’s tweet.
