Glenn McGrath was a part of the great Australian team in the 2000s. McGrath wasn’t the quickest or the canniest of bowlers. However, he always looked to stick to the basics of bowling – line and length. He never tried anything fancy in his 14-year career but was highly deceptive in the air and off the pitch fetching him 563 Test wickets.

Following the footsteps of McGrath is one of Australia’s key members, Josh Hazlewood. Adapting to the modern day game, Hazlewood is more of a canny customer and relies heavily on the swing. Moreover, he is known for his pinpoint accuracy and already has 151 wickets to his name in just the 40 Test matches he has played thus far.
