Defending champions Gujarat Titans (GT) and five-time champions Mumbai Indians (MI) squared off in Qualifier 2 of the 2023 Indian Premier League (IPL) at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Friday, May 26. The winning side of the match will face the four-time IPL champions Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the IPL 2023 final on Sunday, May 28, in Ahmedabad.
Ahead of the must-win game, GT skipper Hardik Pandya was all pumped up as he was seen leading the huddle chat. The 29-year-old, made two changes to his team against Mumbai, replacing Dasun Shanaka and Darshan Nalkande with Sai Sudharsan and Joshua Little.
IPL took to Twitter and shared the video of Hardik who was seen full of energy as he addressed his team. The video soon went viral on social media in no time.

Shubman Gill and Wriddhiman Saha lead the charge for GT in powerplay
Speaking about the game, with rain lashing down in Ahmedabad, the game was delayed for half an hour. Following the change in conditions, MI captain Rohit Sharma won the toss and invited GT to bat first.
At the toss, Rohit said that he believes his team can make the most out of the pitch, which appears to be a little sticky. He also stated that he believes MI can do better when chasing, citing that they have done well while chasing this season. The MI captain also made a change to their lineup as they brought Kumar Kartikeya in place of Hrithik Shokeen.
Meanwhile, openers Wriddhiman Saha and Shubman Gill provided an explosive start for GT, as the defending champions were 50/0 after the powerplay.
