RCB are one of the most well-supported teams in the Indian Premier League (IPL). Their fans are present to cheer for them wherever they play. To watch the highly-anticipated encounter between Bengaluru and Lucknow, a female fan of the Faf du Plessis-led franchise took an early leave from her office citing a "family emergency". Later, she was caught by her boss when the camera panned to her as she was watching the match from the Chinnaswamy stands.
She shared how her boss saw her on TV and pulled her leg. The RCB fan uploaded a screenshot of her light-hearted conversation after the match and social media was left in splits after the fans' revelation.
“Are you a RCB fan? You must be disappointed yesterday then, I saw you with a very worried expression when they missed a catch while fielding yesterday. Over 16.3 when the keeper missed a catch,” the boss texted her.

He added, “I saw you only for a second and yet recognized you. So, that was the reason for the early log out yesterday.”
Sharing a screenshot of the messages from her boss, the woman wrote, “Ab Manager ke saath quick call hai guys.”
Fans loved the hilarious turn of events and some of them went on to post some comments that left everyone in splits.
“Ye sab hone ke baad, Aap Boss se - Mujhko Raana ji maaf karna ghalti mahaare se ho gayi,” commented a fan. Another wrote, “So glad you are still a RCB fan despite their current run, and u have a nice manager too, give my regards to him.”
“RCB is family and they definitely are in emergency at the IPL,” commented another fan.
The home team eventually lost the match by 28 runs as they failed to chase down a target of 182 set by KL Rahul and Co.
Can RCB return to winning ways versus MI?
The Royal Challengers have lost four out of their first five matches and are languishing at No. 9 on the points table. They have lost their last three games and would be looking for some inspiration when they take on Mumbai Indians (MI) on Thursday, April 11 at the iconic Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.

Hardik Pandya-led Mumbai suffered three back-to-back defeats before registering their first win in their most recent encounter against Delhi Capitals. Bengaluru have failed to perform as a unit. Star batters like Glenn Maxwell, Rajat Patidar, and Cameron Green will have to hit their straps and support Virat Kohli, who is the leading run-getter in the tournament with 316 runs from five games at 105.33.
