The T20 extravaganza is well underway in the form of the T20 World Cup 2024 kicking off on Sunday, June 2. This ICC mega event is special in many ways apart from getting hosted by the United States of America (USA) for the first time. In the last two decades, some teams around the globe have made commendable progress and have been on a constant rise. As a result, this surely makes for an exciting contest between bat and the ball with new teams challenging major cricket-playing nations for the first time which fans and cricket stars from other nations are itching to witness. While Australia never fail to amaze fans by their performances on the field, off the field too they often come up with pranks and lesser thought gestures. In the same vein, in one delightful gesture, Mitchell Marsh the Australia Captain and the veteran opener David Warner took their time out to spend some quality time with the young Ugandan side.

Interestingly in Trinidad, where the Men in Yellow showed their cricketing power by mauling opponents despite being a 9-man squad due to Indian Premier League commitments of various players, Mitchell Marsh lived a memorable moment when he was presented with a playing jersey by none other than Uganda team during his stay at the hotel in Port of Spain.

Besides, David Warner mingled with the youngsters and posed generously for clicking photographs with the players of the East African nation. Moreover, he along with other Australian players signed jerseys for the young cricketers. Furthermore, Marsh did not just stop there. He went a notch ahead to don the Uganda jersey, which looks very similar to Australia's playing kit.

Hence it won't be wrong to say this depicts universal diversity and how other nations can come together to lift the spirits of young nations who are trying to make their name in the international cricket arena. Not to forget that Uganda stunned Zimbabwe during the qualifiers to book their berth for the T20 World Cup 2024 edition.
