Former India all-rounder Irfan Pathan took a hilarious dig at the New Zealand batters after they collapse in the second One Day International at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium in Raipur on January 21.
The Indian bowlers made the most of the surface after skipper Rohit Sharma opted to bowl first. The Kiwi top-order failed to negotiate with the new ball and ended up losing five wickets with just 15 runs on the board.
Taking to Twitter, Irfan jokingly said that the New Zealand batters started getting restless as soon as the ball started moving a little bit.
“Modern day batters ke samne thoda ball hila or Garba chalu,” he wrote.

Michael Bracewell, Glenn Phillips help Kiwis post a respectable total
While opener Finn Allen departed in the very first for a duck, in-form batter Devon Conway failed too as he was caught and bowled by Hardik Pandya after a painstaking 7 off 16.
When it appeared that the visitors’ innings would be wrapped up cheaply, the last recognized batting pair of Glenn Phillips and Michael Bracewell carried out a rescue act with a 41-run stand for the sixth wicket.
Once Bracewell was sent back, Phillips found some support from Mitchell Santner, who scored a vital 27. Unfortunately for the Blackcaps, once Glenn Phillips (36 off 52) was dismissed, it was just a matter of time before New Zealand were bundled out for 108 runs in the 35th over.
For India, senior pacer Mohammed Shami was the pick of the bowlers with figures of 3/18 including a maiden while Hardik Pandya and Washington Sundar picked up a couple of wickets each.
