[WATCH] IPL 2025: Mohammed Siraj, Rahul Tewatia felicitated for completing 100 league games

The Gujarat Titans (GT) won their last game against the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) convincingly, where they emerged as the dominant team in the high-scoring game. However, this season also saw them celebrate some of their players as well. The two players who were celebrated were Mohammed Siraj and Rahul Tewatia, who had completed 100 IPL matches this season. A ceremony was held in the dining area of the hotel, where the two were awarded a memento for their achievement.

It was GT skipper Shubman Gill who awarded the memento to Siraj, where he also revealed that the two had also made their Test debut together in Australia as well, before felicitating the pacer. Rahul Tewatia was awarded by former GT player and current assistant coach Matthew Wade. This video was recently released by the Gujarat Titans 'X' handle, and the fans enjoyed the positive and pleasant vibe of the franchise while celebrating one of their veterans in the tournament.

“Congratulations to this very special person (Siraj). We made our Test debut together, and I just want to congratulate him on completing 100 matches in IPL and wish you many more,” Shubman Gill said, awarding a 100 IPL match memento to Siraj in a video released by GT on X.

“100th game also for Rahul Tewatia,” Matthew Wade said while felicitating the seasoned all-rounder.

Siraj, Tewatia's IPL careers so far

The Hyderabad-born has had a fairly good career in the cash-rich tournament. He has represented three teams so far where he made his debut with Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and has played the majority of games for Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB). This is his first season for GT, and he has currently played 103 games and taken 107 wickets at an average of 29.55.

Rahul Tewatia has also played represented four teams in the IPL so far where apart from the Rajasthan Royals (RR) he has also played for Delhi Capitals (DC) and Punjab Kings (PBKS). He has scored 1069 runs and taken 32 wickets in the 103 games he has played so far.
