MS Dhoni claimed he is in the last stage of his career during the toss between the Gujarat Titans and the Chennai Super Kings in the 67th match of the IPL 2025 at the Narendra Modi Stadium on Sunday, May 25. Ravi Shastri, who was the host of the toss, asked Dhoni how his body was coping towards the end of the 18th edition of the league given the workload.

The CSK skipper claimed that it was all about surviving at his age. The star player agreed that it is indeed challenging to keep himself fit, especially after knowing that he is in the final stage of his career. Dhoni felt one had to respect their body and maintain it well after reaching a certain point in their career.

The 43-year-old thanked the support staff who enabled him to be in his best shape to take part in the IPL. Dhoni felt his body responded well and expressed gratitude for representing India at the highest level for a long time. His statement made one wonder if he was potentially hinting at his retirement.
