The fourth edition of the Indian Sports Honours which was held in Mumbai was aired on television on Sunday, March 26. The awards ceremony honoured several sporting superstars of India who made our national flag fly high with their remarkable achievements in the respective sports. During the red carpet of the awards ceremony, star India batter Virat Kohli was spotted with his wife and actor Anushka Sharma.

In a fun chat ahead of the awards ceremony, Kohli was seen shaking a leg to the Oscar-winning song ‘Naatu Naatu’. The former India captain did his best to replicate the famous hook step of the song as his wife cheered him on. During the chat, Anushka also revealed that her husband is her 3 am friend.

However, the couple also said that they don’t like to wake up that late and get to bed by 9:45.

“If either one of us is awake at 3 am but we don’t want to be awake at 3 am. We sleep very early so we’ve no interest in being awake at 3 am,” Sharma said to Star Sports.

The song ‘Naatu Naatu’ recently won the prestigious Oscar Award in the Best Song category. The song is from the movie ‘RRR’ directed by SS Rajamouli. It is the second Indian song to win Oscar after Jai Ho from Slumdog Millionaire was bestowed with the highest honour in international cinema in 2009 in the same category.

Meanwhile, Virat Kohli has joined the Royal Challengers Bangalore camp ahead of the Indian Premier League 2023. RCB has failed to win a single IPL trophy since the inception of the tournament way back in 2008. RCB came mighty close to winning their first IPL title in 2016 under the leadership of Kohli, however, they lost the final against Sunrisers Hyderabad by a narrow margin of 8 runs.

Kohli finished as the highest run-getter of the season as he smacked 973 runs in 16 matches at an average of 81.08 with four hundreds all of which are unbroken records to date in the tournament.
