Raina bagged this record going past another southpaw Sourav Ganguly who was the first teenager to score a century in the Deodhar Trophy. The former Indian captain was 18 years and 186 days old when he scored a ton in the Deodhar final in 1990/91. Prior to this knock, Rohit’s highest List A score was only 31 runs. Interestingly, the Mumbaikar came in as a replacement via super-sub rule. All the four players younger than Gill to score a Deodhar Trophy ton recorded that as their maiden century in List A cricket.
