The second game of the triple-header day in the T10 League will see Bengal Tigers face the Maratha Arabians in Sharjah. Both the teams have contrasting starts to their campaign. While the Tigers were clinical in their opening game thanks to Jason Roy and Sherfane Rutherford’s batting, Maratha bagged an embarrassing record of becoming the first team ever to get bowled out in the history of the tournament.

Even the bowling was spot on for the Bengal team as Aamer Yamin scalped a double hat-trick picking four wickets off consecutive deliveries. Also, the likes of Mujeeb Ur Rahman and Morne Morkel have the ability to keep a lid on the run-scoring.

As far as the Arabians are concerned, they would quickly want to forget their last outing and make amends to get on the board in the competition. They have Alex Hales at the top who is in form and will be once again tipped to get the side off to a flyer. The bowling attack will also be under pressure and Rashid Khan should be among wickets during his two-over spell.

Pitch and Conditions

The games played around 6 PM local time have proved fruitful for the chasing team so far in the last couple of days and the trend might continue. Though batting first also looks a good option as the batsmen can play freely to post an above-par total on the board. As far as the conditions is concerned, the temperatures will hover around 25 Degrees Celsius which won’t trouble the players much.

Team Combinations

Bengal Tigers

The Tigers are coming off a scintillating victory in their season opener and there won’t be many changes to their line-up. Indian veteran Zaheer Khan might replace Ali Khan who was expensive conceding 37 runs off his two overs. The onus will be again on Narine, Roy and Sherfane Rutherford to do the bulk of the scoring. If the top-order collapses, they still have the likes of Luke Wright and Mohammad Nabi to make amends.

Morne Morkel and Mujeeb will be key for them with the ball with Aamer Yamin also brimming with confidence in the previous game.

Probable XI: Sunil Narine (c), Jason Roy, Luke Wright, Sam Billings, Chirag Suri, Mohammad Nabi, Sherfane Rutherford, Aamer Yamin, Mujeeb Ur Rahman, Zaheer Khan/Ali Khan, Morne Morkel.

Maratha Arabians

Arabians have to pull up their socks rather than making a plethora of changes only after a single game. They have some talented players in the line-up and the only change could be Brendan Taylor coming in for Kamran Akmal who had an extremely ordinary day both behind the stumps and with the willow. Hales should score runs at the top of the order with the Afghan sensation Hazratullah Zazai at his disposal as well.

Rashid Khan will definitely lead the bowling attack and Zahoor Khan, Roelof van der Merwe among others will assist him.

Probable XI: Dwayne Bravo (c), Hazratullah Zazai, Alex Hales, James Vince, Kamran Akmal/Brendan Taylor, Rashid Khan, Najibullah Zadran, James Faulkner, Roelof van der Merwe, Richard Gleeson, Zahoor Khan.
