IPL 2026 Batting Most Fifties
The 19th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 is set to kick off on March 28, with Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) taking on Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
RCB enter the season as defending champions, having ended their 17-year title drought with a memorable triumph last year. The franchise has retained its core group of players while strengthening the squad further through the mini-auction, making them one of the teams to watch this season.
Over the years, the IPL has consistently delivered exceptional batting performances, thrilling fans with high-scoring encounters. Former India captain Virat Kohli holds the record for the most number of half-centuries in the tournament’s history, with 63 to his name.
In IPL 2025, a total of 149 fifties were recorded, highlighting the dominance of batters. Kohli led the charts for RCB with eight half-centuries. With another exciting season ahead, fans will be eager to see which batter rises to the occasion and dominates the run-scoring charts.
