IPL 2026 Batting Most Centuries

Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026, which is going to be the 19th season of the cash-rich tournament, commences on March 28 as reigning champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) lock horns with Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.

Following a historic 2025 season where RCB finally secured their first-ever title under the leadership of Rajat Patidar, the 10 teams are gearing up once again to compete for the coveted trophy. Plenty of star international players will be in action over the next few months as cricket aficionados are in for some mouth-watering action.

Over the years, the IPL has seen some exemplary batting performances. A total of 110 centuries have been scored in the tournament since its inception in 2008. Some of those centuries have stood the test of time. Virat Kohli continues to hold the record for scoring the most number of tons in the IPL, with eight centuries to his name. Jos Buttler remains second on the list, having seven three-figure scores in his arsenal.

Notably, the 2025 season saw a surge in high scores, including a record-breaking 35-ball century by teenage sensation Vaibhav Sooryavanshi. It will be interesting to see who scores the most number of tons in the upcoming 2026 edition of the IPL as the world's best batters descend upon Indian soil once more.
