Indian cricket is one of the most popular cricketing circuits in the world. With many superstars making the sport popular, the cricketers have become increasingly wealthy. Adding on, the BCCI conducts the Indian Premier League, a tournament that attracts the attention of the world. Hence, as the BCCI has become the most powerful board, the players have become popular too.

Yuvraj Singh will always be regarded as one of the finest all-rounders the nation has seen. He could bat high up the order and bowl economical overs. Although his game dipped later on in the mid-2010s, he had contributed immensely to Indian cricket. Yuvraj Singh used to bat at the prestigious number 4 position. 

He was instrumental in India’s World Cup-winning campaign in 2011. Whenever the team was in a desperate situation, Yuvraj used to step up. During the game against Australia in the quarterfinal, he smashed a half-century to guide his team into the semi-final. Adding on, he bowled his full quota of 10 overs during that tournament. 

In 2007, Yuvraj used to put up match-winning performances with the bat. He smashed six sixes in an over off Stuart Broad. Later on, in the semi-final, he scored a quick 70 from 30 balls.
