  • In the first ODI between Zimbabwe and India, team India managed to strike a total of 255/6 in their 50 overs. In reply, Zimbabwe were restricted to 251/7 in their quota of 50 overs.
  • Ambati Rayudu struck his second international century for India. He remained unbeaten on 124* runs. Elton Chigumbura also struck his second ODI century but ended up being on the losing side.
