Twitter Reaction: Wriddhiman Saha slams ton as India piles on the runs
3 Min Read

Following an impressive century against the West Indies, it was Wriddhiman Saha who went ahead and smashed only his second Test match century following his incredible and unbeaten 106 against Bangladesh on the second day’s play against Bangladesh in the one-off Test match at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Hyderabad.
While Saha was indeed one of the three players who smashed centuries, this was an impressive one given the manner in which Saha got his runs on the day. Of course, he is one of those players like KL Rahul and Ishant Sharma who are indeed making their way back from injuries, the fact was that he remained unbeaten till the end, something that he is not used to especially after smashing such a knock.
While it was Wirddhiman Saha was indeed one of those who got his way with the bat, it was Virat Kohli who had the bulk of the spotlight on him given the fact that he smashed his fourth double century of the India home series, something that he has become accustomed at the moment.
However, the innings of Saha was something that is certainly celebrated given the fact that he was one of those who had been tipped to make his way back into the grand scheme of things with Parthiv Patel looking very promising with both the gloves as well as the bat.

However, Patel’s impressive batsmanship was indeed something that kept him in the side, Saha quashed all rumors when he went ahead and slammed an incredible double century in the Irani Trophy wherein he smashed 203, something that cemented his place in the squad for the Bangladesh series and the subsequent Australia series as well.
