The Pakistan cricket team is touring New Zealand for a 5-match ODI series and 3 T20 Internationals. It hasn’t been an easy tour for them. They are struggling with both bat and the ball. In the third ODI, they were bowled out for just 74 runs, on the other hand, the Kiwis have been very clinical in the series and thus lead 4-0.
The first two games in the series were affected by rain and the hosts comfortably got across the line as per the DLS method. However, in the 4th ODI, Pakistan fought back with the bat. They won the toss and put the New Zealanders into bowl first. Making the most of the suitable conditions, they put 262 runs on the board for the loss of 8 wickets in their 50 overs. Opener Fakhar Zaman continued his good run of form. Him and Harris Sohail scored half-centuries to set them up for a big total.
The Pakistanis scored 200 runs in 45 overs. The last five overs of the innings absolutely changed the tide. Mohammad Hafeez who top-scored with 81 runs alongside captain Sarfraz Ahmed managed to extract 62 runs in the last 5 overs. They quickly shifted gears changing the momentum in their favour. Sarfraz got to his half-century and scored 51 off 46 deliveries.
Although New Zealand started off the chase on a positive note, they lost their openers at the wrong time in the innings. Veteran Ross Taylor and keeper Tom Latham were sent back to the pavilion early by the Pakistani bowlers. Later, Kane Williamson and Henry Nicholls stabilised the innings.
Nicholls stayed unbeaten on 52 off 70 balls but Williamson got out on 32 in the 35th over. The Black Caps was under some great pressure when Williamson got out. But, all-rounder Colin de Grandhomme came out to bat and took the game away from Pakistan. He scored 74 off just 40 deliveries to help the home team chase the target down in just the 46th over.

Who else remembers in 2015, when the whole nation crucified @waqyounis99 cause he said he didn't know Sarfaraz was an opener? Sarfaraz had an ideal chance of sending himself as an opener now but he instead sends someone who's never opened in his entire career! #PAKvsNZ #NZvPAK
