Virat Kohli answers 'who is the captain' in his relationship with Anushka Sharma

Indian captain Virat Kohli hasn’t just redefined batting with his approach wielding the bat in hand but has also given a lot of people relationship goals. He had a long-term dating relation with Anushka Sharma before the two decided to tie the knot in a private wedding in Italy. Meanwhile a few months ago there were reports that the two had parted ways but defying everything Kohli married Anushka and has since been flaunting his life partner, talking about the influence she has on his life.

Anushka hasn’t missed an opportunity to support him either. She flew with the Indian team to South Africa and stayed there as long as she could and only came back to fulfil professional commitments. Now that Kohli is leading the Royal Challengers Bangalore in the Indian Premier League (IPL) she has occupied a special place in the stands and her involvement is quite evident with the reactions. When RCB played Kings XI Punjab the Bollywood actress couldn’t make it to the stadium as she is shooting in the US but made sure she was following it live from her vanity van.

Virat in his first interview after marriage talked to Jatin Sapru and he had some specific questions about their relationship.

Talking about his wife’s love for the sport the India and RCB captain said, “She follows even Indian cricket very keenly when we are playing. RCB games of course, it is fun to be able to watch the game anywhere in the world and still be able to follow the league. She is very passionate, understands the game and she can understand the sentiment of the players what they go through and stuff which I think is the most beautiful thing.”

Sapru asked him who is the captain off the field in their relationship and Virat was happy to admit that it is his better half who makes the decisions for them.

“She is, she takes all the right decision in life. She is totally my strength and keeps me positive all the time and that’s what you want with your life partner. So, yeah I’m very grateful,” Kohli said.
