Former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag just could not believe his eyes with the way actions unfolded in the Indore T20I between India and Sri Lanka. Well, the former cricketer cannot be blamed for being dumbstruck on the occasion. The entire cricketing fraternity watched in awe as KL Rahul and Rohit Sharma took the opposition bowlers to the cleaners in the match.

It was absolute carnage on the cards as team India posted a huge total of 260 on the board in their stipulated 20 overs. This was their highest T20I score till date. The credit, needless to concede, goes to their skipper Rohit Sharma. The duo added 165 runs for the first wicket as team India threatened to breach all the T20 records at one stage.

Commenting on Rohit Sharma’s knock, the Mumbai lad looked in sublime form. Every shot that he hit seemed to be sailing over the ropes. Hitting three sixes in an over became a normality during the course of the innings. Rohit was eventually dismissed in the 13th over. But the damage was already done.

He had notched up his second T20I century en route the masterly partnership. He scored 118 off just 43 balls before getting dismissed. His knock was embellished with 12 fours and 10 sixes. Seeing the brutal assassin on display, Virender Sehwag could not control himself from tweeting about Rohit. Sehwag is known for his witty tweets.

He is one of the most active and highly followed cricketers on the social media. Sehwag was quick to take to Twitter to hail Rohit’s knock. Sehwag, in his tweet, wrote that Rohit made a mockery of the Sri Lankan bowling. He further added that the way Rohit made things look simple is just some sorcery.

Here is the tweet:

“RoHit Sharma ! Mazaak bana rakha hai yaar. It ain’t this easy yaar,” tweeted Virender Sehwag.
