Virender Sehwag is a renowned personality on social media platform, Twitter, for his highly entertaining tweets. Much like his cricketing days, the batsman continues to give his fan a good time. Sehwag has hit a professional level when it comes to trolling fellow celebrities and his tweets are sure to leave you in splits.

But another thing the Nawab of Najafgarh does religiously is wishing his fellow cricketers. Sehwag never forgets to come up with a message for cricketers on their birthdays, but of course in his own hilarious manner. We got an example of the same when the destructive batsman took to his Twitter handle for the umpteenth time and congratulated Makhaya Ntini.

The main story:

Makhaya Ntini, who has almost 400 Test wickets to his name, celebrates his birthday today on 6th July. Virender Sehwag wasted no time in sending a message for the bowler who turned 39 today. Sehwag’s tweet read “Happy Birthday to one of the best fast bowlers , Makhaya Ntini .For many people in India ,he was Nitin”.

Viru praised the bowler by labelling him as one of the best fast bowlers to play the game but did not forget to add a dose of laughter at the end. He also stated that to many Indians he was ‘Nitin’ because they failed to pronounce the name ‘Ntini’ which is a bit of a tongue twister.

Makhaya Ntini was one of those bowlers who succeeded at the top level despite lacking the essential attributes to be a top-notch bowler. But what he had was a never say die attitude and the ability to fight until the last minute. His athletic physique supported his determination to give his best till the last ball and made him one of South Africa’s most successful fast bowlers.

Meanwhile, Virender Sehwag is a strong contender for the Indian head coach position after the resignation of Anil Kumble. He is being challenged by the likes of Ravi Shastri, Tom Moody and a handful of others and it will be exciting to see who gets the cherry.
