Watch: Ambati Rayudu getting Dismissed As a Result of Deadly Umpiring Glitch: In the third ODI between Bangladesh and India, there happened to be a big umpiring flaw during the death overs of the Indian innings. Ambati Rayudu was the victim of the poor decision and he had to walk back to the pavilion missing a well deserved fifty by a margin of 6 runs.

In the third delivery of the 44^th over, when India were well poised at the score of 251 runs for the loss of 3 wickets, Rayudu went onto scoop a good length delivery from Mortaza. But the ball missed the bat by a good margin and clicked onto his pads and was eventually caught by the wicket keeper, Litton Das.

Appeal was being made for the dismissal and in one of the most bizarre ways, to the surprise of many, the umpire, Enamul Haque raised his fingers and Rayudu had to walk back to the pavilion. Rayudu, quite naturally, was awestruck after getting victimized to such a decision. He stared at the umpire with shock. Even Dhoni, who was on the non-striker’s end, wondered about such a decision.

Such a mistake cannot be afforded at the international level. The ball was nowhere near to the bat and it looked quite prominent even to the naked eye.

Rayudu’s dismissal restrained the scoring rate to an extent but a fantastic cameo from Raina at the ultimate overs ensured India to a winning total of 317 runs. India went onto win the match quite comprehensively, bundling the Bangladeshis for just 240 runs.
