England cricketer Jason Roy, who played a vital role in England’s impressive run in the World T20 2016, has named his all time XI in association with Lord’s Cricket Ground and their YouTube channel.

England Test skipper, Alastair Cook, who recently went past the 10,000-run mark will open the innings for Roy’s team along with veteran South African opener Hashim Amla. A name which is common in most of the all-time XI’s, the greatest Indian batsman Sachin Tendulkar is at no.3.

Sri Lankan legend, Kumar Sangakkara, who had the ability of steadying the ship as well as being the aggressor, is the next batsman in his lineup. The ‘game changer’ Kevin Pietersen who was vital in England winning the World T20 2010 finds his spot in the middle-order.

The lower middle-order comprises of two of the outstanding all-rounder’s world cricket has ever witnessed – Jacques Kallis of South Africa and former England cricketer Andrew Flintoff.

Roy’s bowling line-up comprises of 3 pacers and 1 spinner. Shane Warne is the lone spinner in the side, who is a natural pick in almost all the all-time XI’s, being one of the most successful bowlers in world cricket. And someone who had the ability to deceive batsmen on any surface with his crafty leg-spin.

The pace bowling line-up comprises of former West Indies legend Ian Bishop, England spearhead James Anderson and South African spearhead Dale Steyn. Anderson and Steyn will take the new ball, with Bishop being the third seamer along with the two all-rounders forms a great bowling line-up.
