After exactly a month ten race cars, teams are going to show their power in England in the 2019 World Cup. The engine, players have been installed and most of the cars, the squad are looking ready to rumble in the park. The race track, ODI format needs some attention and that’s why some remodelling, changes in the tournament have been done. The pit crew, the coaching staff are ready with their strategies and the audience is eagerly waiting for a mouth-watering contest.

The 12th edition of the ICC World Cup is going to be the biggest white ball saga of this year. All the participants have selected their 15 member squad and each of the teams is looking equally capable of winning the championship. Unlike other editions, England are favourites to lift the trophy this year.

Their troop was finalized last week but unfortunately, the England batsman Alex Hales has been withdrawn from the preliminary squad owing to his drugs ban.

Here are the five players who can replace Alex Hales from the England World Cup squad:

1) Liam Livingstone

The batsman from Cumberland can be the perfect replacement for Alex Hales as he has the experience of batting at top of the order. He has represented the three lions in a couple of T20Is. Livingstone is a hard-hitting batsman which is currently the primary weapon in white-ball cricket. The right-hander can also contribute with the ball as he is a decent leg-spinner.

Recently Liam Livingstone has been in good nick and also scored a couple of half-centuries in the Pakistan Super League which was played earlier in the year. The right-hander is also the part of the Rajasthan Royals (RR) in the IPL and in his maiden outing, he made a 26-ball 44 while opening the innings. He is a powerful striker of the cricket ball and it was on show several times in the domestic cricket. He averages 37 in 53 List A games and looks a decent bet to replace Hales.
