Yograj Singh Yuvraj Singh’s father lashes out on Indian captain MS Dhoni: Yograj Singh who is better known to us for being Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh’s father on Monday, said to a large gathering of media things which were unexpected and rather controversial. Yograj in a sympathetic yet aggressive manner first blamed Indian captain MS Dhoni for Yuvi not being a part of the Indian cricket team which is playing the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 in Australia and New Zealand.

He started with saying that he would request MS Dhoni’s parents to guide their son on sticking to honest path and not using involving personal differences while reporting as Indian captain. Yograj went to the extent of saying that the BCCI and the Indian selectors wanted to have Yuvi in the world cup 2015 squad but Dhoni clearly said that he did not want Yuvraj in the team and that was the only reason of his son not making it to the world cup squad.

Yograj sending out his words for Dhoni said, “Son, I would be more than happy if the Indian team wins this world cup under your captaincy, you are a great player and a captain but I cannot believe a guy like you could do something like this.”

When asked whether he has anything to say to the BCCI or the Indian selectors who picked the squad, Yograj said, “I have nothing to say about or to the BCCI, Indian players, Indian cricket is there as the BCCI is there, so we should respect them and salute the board.

“You should also respect the selectors, but when the captain is against a player the BCCI and the selectors cannot do anything in such a case.” He concluded saying.

These were serious allegations which surely would reach Dhoni’s ears as he is training with the team in Australia for their next match in the world cup, another thing which is for sure is someone asking Dhoni for his response on the issue and allegations levied by Yuvraj’s father.

Yuvraj who had a day of joy in the first half as he was once again the biggest buy at the IPL Auction for the 2015 season being bought at a whopping 16 crore bettering his own record of 14 crore in the last auction. But was quick on keeping himself away from what his father said, “My dad is very passionate and I am sure he got carried away, I have always enjoyed playing under Mahi and would do so in future.
