Zimbabwe v New Zealand T20I statistical review: Zimbabwe continue downfall in their performances after the sensational win against New Zealand in 1st ODI as they lose in the only T20I against the visitors by a huge margin of 80 runs. New Zealand posted 198 with help of a fifty on debut from George Worker. Later, the Zimbabwe batsmen never looked like chasing as they were restricted to just 118.

80 – The margin of runs with which New Zealand defeated Zimbabwe. This is their 3rd largest win in terms of runs in T20Is. Their largest victories in T20Is were 83 runs vs Ireland in 2009 and 81 runs vs West Indies in 2014.

Interestingly, this is Zimbabwe’s 3rd largest loss in terms of runs in T20Is. Their largest losses in T20Is were 85 runs vs Pakistan in 2011 and 82 runs vs Sri Lanka in 2012.
