Colin Ingram is another South African who was talented but failed to make a mark on the international stage. He is a clean striker of the white ball and could play match-winning innings for his team. But, a packed South African team and IPL franchises meant that he had to sit out on most of the occasions. Things would have been a lot better if he had been given more chances.

Ingram made his IPL debut in 2011, against the Mumbai Indians. In his first IPL game, he could not handle the pressure of the debut as Malinga bowled him for just a single run. Ingram has been unable to shine in the IPL. Till now, he has played only 15 games in approximately 10 years.

A run tally of 205 runs with the highest score of 47 is not satisfactory either. But Ingram has been one of the top run-scorers in the PSL. With 819 runs at a strike rate of 146.77, he is one of the biggest names in the league. He has the highest score of 127, which showcases his ability to play big innings in the shortest format of the game.
