There was a lot of hype around Shahrukh Khan ahead of the IPL auction. The Tamil Nadu cricketer was deemed to be one of the big picks among the uncapped Indian players. However, it was a surprise when he went unsold in the auction for the 2020 season.

Shahrukh Khan has been a regular member of the Tamil Nadu white-ball sides over the last couple of years. The 24-year-old has done well too. He didn’t have a great Syed Mushtaq but he was excellent in the Vijay Hazare Trophy. He donned the finisher’s role and played a few vital knocks for his side.

Moreover, he has been a consistent performer in the Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL). Thus, Shahrukh Khan could’ve been a good pick. He can bat in the lower middle order and provide some firepower.
