Australia’s prominent opening batter David Warner has made a name for himself all around the world. The left-handed batter is very aggressive with the bat and has played several match-winning knocks for his country. To note, Warner became the first player to represent his country despite having no domestic experience.

Born on October 27 1986 in the Sydney district of Paddington in New South Wales, the left-handed batter comes from a humble background that resulted in Warner working at a supermarket/grocery chain store at a very young age. The left-handed batter played cricket and at the same time used to work at the commercial chains to manage his expenses.

It may be noted that there are no available records of Warner playing cricket between 2003 and 2007. A year after that, Warner joined New South Wales to start his domestic career, but soon he was called to the national side to represent Australia and the rest is history.
