He was tipped as the next big thing in South African cricket. He was one of the cornerstones of South Africa’s imperious World Cup campaign in 2015. But then, like with many other cricketers in South Africa, Kolpak happened.

The left-hander has played in T20 leagues all over the world barring the IPL and has established himself as one of the most sought after players in the world. Rossouw has been the cornerstone of Quetta Gladiators for the past few seasons. The former South African scored 255 runs at an average of 42.50 and a strike-rate of 123.18 and backed it up with another good performance last season (200 runs in 10 games).

A lot of IPL teams have grappled with the inconsistency of their middle-order, and Rossow, with an experience of 177 T20s and 4245 runs behind him, could be the answer to their problem.
