5. Lack of a Quality All-Rounder:

Ravindra Jadeja was provided with yet another opportunity in both the matches of the series and like previous occasions, he failed to capitalize. He was least effective with the ball in both the matches. Axar Patel was a part of the XI in the second ODI but even he failed to make a commanding impact to the game. And, India genuinely felt the lack of a match-winning all-rounder. It is high time now that the selection committee have to act smart to judge Jadeja’s place in the squad.
