Putting players back into the pool and getting them at a bargain price once again is a great manoeuvre.

5. Colin Ingram

Without a doubt, Colin Ingram is one of the most sought-after players in T20 leagues all around the world. This globetrotter has got great experience in this format and can be quite destructive as well. However, this is another surprising decision the Delhi Capitals (DC) have taken.
The DC franchise invested heavily in him last year in the auction. They spent INR 6.40 crores which was amongst one of the highest in the overseas players. But, Ingram only scored 184 runs in 12 games at an average of 18.40. That kind of price hardly justifies his performance for the team.
But it should be realised that he was batting slightly out of position and the Kotla track hasn’t been really kind to him. Maybe the Capitals might look to provide him with one last chance to prove his talent considering his experience. But the chances that they’ll buy him back aren’t as high as it is some of the other players on this list.
