After the tremendous success of T20 cricket across the globe, many T20 leagues were formed in the cricketing world, one of which is the CPL. It’s one of the best T20 leagues across the world. This super over took place during the CPL 2014, after the tie between the above-mentioned teams.

Batting first, the Trinidad franchise scored only 118 runs in their 20 overs with Evin Lewis and Nicholas Pooran, being their top performers with the bat. Chasing the low target, the Warriors fumbled with the bat and took the match to the last over. With three runs to win off the final ball, Ronsford Beaton lofted the ball high in the air and Pooran dropped a dolly and the batsmen ran two runs, taking the match to the super over.

In the super over, the Warriors batted first and scored 11 runs in their six balls and posted a target of 12. In response, TKR sent Pooran to open the batting. He played four dot balls against Sunil Narine before he got out off the fifth ball. The sixth ball also happened to be a dot ball and the Warriors won the match in the super over with Narine bowling an excellent maiden in the super over amidst pressure.
