5 Times cricketers got trolled for their tweets against MS Dhoni

Sanjay Manjrekar is one person who has been really critical of many things in cricket. And this has even led people to say things about him. The former Indian player has been called out several times for his comments and analysis of the game. But, this incident wasn’t something that could just get past the radar of Dhoni fans.

During the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019, Manjrekar tweeted, “Here’s something interesting about Dhoni -. 41 off 87 balls v spin this WC. But in the warm up games 69 off 56 balls v spin. That tells me it’s mental too. He does not put his wicket on the line as much in the big games.”

Whatever he wanted to point out by making this observation wasn’t really clear much. But, Dhoni’s fans did take it as an attack on Dhoni’s batting abilities. After Sanjay Manjrekar posted this tweet, people came up and pointed out that he was spreading negative thoughts about Dhoni’s batting, while during the world cup, his form wasn’t bad at all. Dhoni was getting runs regularly and was hitting the ball well also.
