The league stages of the 2021 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) are done and dusted, and we are now into the ‘business end’ of the tournament. And, the four teams that will battle it out in the IPL Playoffs are Delhi Capitals (DC), Chennai Super Kings (CSK), Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR).

Delhi Capitals (DC) and the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) finished at the first and second spots respectively in the IPL points table and will play the first Qualifier. The winner of the first Qualifier will directly qualify for the final, while the loser will have another shot at making it to the final, as they will face the winner of the Eliminator in Qualifier 2.

On the other hand, Royal Challengers Bangalore and Kolkata Knight Riders will play the Eliminator. The Royal Challengers Bangalore side finished at the 3rd position in the points table, while the Kolkata Knight Riders finished the league stages at the 4th spot. While the loser of the Eliminator is out of the tournament, the winner will face the loser of Qualifier 1 in Qualifier 2. The winner of Qualifier 2 advances to the 2021 IPL final.
