Anushka Sharma gives a flying kiss to her victorious husband Virat Kohli

Team India began the three-match ODI series with a bang by thrashing England in the first match at the Trent Bridge in Nottingham. Kuldeep Yadav and Rohit Sharma were the main architects of the victory even as the skipper Virat Kohli continued his dream run in the ODIs with a 75-run authoritative knock in the chase. His wife and the Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma had also accompanied him in the stadium as she gave a flying a kiss to her husband after winning the match.

Kohli shelved a golden chance of registering his 36th hundred in the 50-overs format as he gave away his wicket to Adil Rashid which no one saw coming. But while he was there in the middle, he batted fluently and never looked in trouble at all. His innings was like a highway on which he was driving a car with no one around. Moreover, his cover drives absolutely pleasing to the eyes which raced to the boundary after leaving his bat.

Anushka’s flying kiss

Ever since getting married, more often than not, Anushka Sharma has accompanied Virat Kohli whenever she gets time. She was sitting with the wife of Shikhar Dhawan last night when Team India won the game rather easily as all the wives of the Indian cricketers present in the Stadium were happy.

After the victory, it seems that Kohli was in the Stadium and saw his wife who was sitting in the stands as she gave him a flying kiss. This is not the first time when the adorable couple is seen interacting during or after the game. It had happened during the Indian Premier League (IPL) as well as Kohli used to blush while looking at Anushka and the video of the same had gone viral.

The second ODI between India and England will now be played on Saturday at the iconic Lord’s Cricket Ground in London. Anushka is likely to stay in the country to support her husband and it will be interesting to see if he manages to reach the three-figure mark this time around.
