Shepherded by an able captain in the form of Mahmudullah, Khulna Titans will look to make an impact from the start. The right mix players will be essential to achieve. While the opening left hand-right hand combination can be brought together by Nazmul Hossain Shanto and the skipper, the remaining batting responsibilities have to be taken up by players like Rilee Rossouw, Chadwick Walton and the swashbuckling Carlos Brathwaite.

The defending champions find themselves on the back foot after having faced a crushing defeat in the first game of the tournament. However, they’d probably want to give their initial combination another chance and obliterate their forgettable first outing from public memory as soon as possible. The opening duties will be taken up by Mehedi Maruf and Evin Lewis, followed by the ever-dependable Kumar Sangakkara.

Skipper Shakib Al Hasan, accompanied by Mosaddek Hossain will have to solidify the team’s innings. The power-hitting at the end of the innings can be entrusted to Kieron Pollard and Cameron Delport. The bowling department can be fuelled by spinners Adil Rashid and Saqlain Sajib, along with pacers Abu Hider Rony and Mohammad Shahid.
