Tamim Iqbal didn’t have the best of starts to this season’s BPL as he could only score 60 runs in his first five matches with as many as two ducks. Nevertheless, the experienced campaigner has struck form in the last three matches with scores of 73, 25 and 34 respectively. The Victorians would need another substantial knock from their premier opening batsman.

Captain and Vice-Captain Selection:

Brendan Taylor and Thisara Perera are the ideal choices for the captain’s roles. Tamim Iqbal and Junaid Siddique won’t be bad choices for the vice captain’s roles. Shahid Afridi, Mahmudullah and David Wiese can also be selected as one of the multipliers’ bearing in mind their all-round abilities.
