Pakistan, ranked the lowest among the teams coming into the tournament, ended up lifting the Champions Trophy 2017 title as they crushed India in the finale after doing the same earlier to the hot favourites South Africa and hosts England.

It was an interesting tournament where we got to see a lot of unexpected results, backed by multiple washouts and rain interruptions. There were some interesting records and numbers recorded in this edition of CT which could prove out the domination of Pakistan and India sides that faced off in the final.

Here we look at all the stats and records created during the tournament.

0 – Instances of the teams being bowled out for a total of 150 or lower in this edition of Champions Trophy. India’s 158 in the final is the lowest total in this edition.

4 – Four players bowled 4 maidens in this Champions Trophy; the most by anyone else. Junaid Khan, Kagiso Rabada, Jake Ball and Bhuvneshwar Kumar are the 4 players.

9 – Number of dismissals Sarfraz Ahmed has affected as wicketkeeper in this edition of the Champions Trophy; the most by any player.

9 – India’s 9-wicket win over Bangladesh is the highest margin victory in terms of wickets in this Champions Trophy. It is also only the 10th game in CT where a team won by a margin of 9 or more wickets.

10 – Number of sixes Hardik Pandya has hit in this Champions Trophy; the most by any player. His 10 sixes are joint 3rd most by anyone in a CT edition behind Sourav Ganguly’s 12 in 2000 and Shane Watson’s 11 in 2009.

29 – Balls used by Yuvraj Singh for his fifty vs Pakistan in league stage; the fastest fifty in this Champions Trophy. His fifty is the 5th fastest in the Champions Trophy.

13 – Number of wickets Hasan Ali took in this CT; most by any player. His 13 wickets are the joint most for any player in a single edition of the Champions Trophy. Jerome Taylor picked 13 wickets in 2006 CT.

92 – Number of balls Fakhar Zaman needed to get to his century in the final against India; the fastest of the 10 centuries recorded in this edition.

153 – Number of dot balls bowled by Hasan Ali in this edition of Champions Trophy; the most by any bowler. Bhuvneshwar Kumar bowled 142 dots.

180 – Pakistan’s 180-run win in the final is the biggest win in terms of runs in this edition of the Champions Trophy and the 3rd biggest overall in CT history.

224 – Partnership stand between Shakib Al Hasan and Mahmudullah for the 5th wicket against New Zealand; the highest stand for any wicket in this CT and the 2nd highest for any wicket in Champions Trophy history.

338 – Runs scored by Shikhar Dhawan in this CT; the most by any player. His tally is the 4th highest for any player in the Champions Trophy.

338/4 – Pakistan’s total of 338/4 in the final is the highest team total in this Champions Trophy and the 2nd highest CT history.
