We are here to witness an exciting, beat the heat contest between two high voltage sides of the Tournament. One team toppled by the defending champions of the tournament and another team toppling the last year finalists. Its Kandy Falcons up against the Colombo Stars in Qualifier 2 of the Lanka Premier League third edition
Both the teams have faced each other twice in the ongoing edition with Kandy Falcons being victorious on both the occasions. Due to poor batting display from the Colombo Stars, they were put to test in the eliminator and have managed to cross the line due to courtesy of good bowling display.
Kandy Falcons, on the other hand, were the favorites to win the tournament in the way they performed until the Qualifier 1. One bad game meant they are put in hut and need one more win in a winners-take all clash to go into finals.
Both the teams have not been in the finals of previous editions and would be aiming to play their first finals of Lanka Premier League
