3. India

India endured a challenging phase when it came to clinching major ICC titles. The trophy cabinet held iconic wins, the 1983 and 2011 ODI World Cups, the 2007 T20 World Cup, and the 2002 and 2013 Champions Trophies, but they repeatedly stumbled at the final hurdle in recent years. The men in blue had heartbreaking losses in the finals of the 2023 ODI World Cup, the 2021 and 2023 World Test Championships, the 2017 Champions Trophy, and the 2014 T20 World Cup.
But India broke the jinx by winning the 2024 T20 World Cup in the USA and the West Indies, defeating South Africa in a thrilling final. They followed it up with another triumph in the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy to end their title drought.
