2. KS Bharat

Srikar Bharat has been a consistent performer in the Indian domestic circuit. He has featured in 82 first-class games and scored 4425 runs in 82 games at an average of 37.50. Also, the wicketkeeper-batter has scored 1950 runs in 64 List-A matches at an average of 33.62.

The ace batter has been around the Indian Test setup for the last couple of years but he is yet to make his international debut. Ahead of India’s fifth Test against England, Bharat showed his batting prowess in the practice game against Leicestershire, scoring 70 runs off 111 balls in the first innings and 43 runs off 98 balls in the second. Courtesy of his valiant effort, the ace batter was in the reckoning for a spot in the playing XI but could not get a game.

The Visakhapatnam-born is part of India’s Test squad for the forthcoming Test series against the Bangla Tigers. However, with Rishabh Pant also in the team, Bharat is not likely to be the first-choice wicketkeeper when Rohit & co. take the field. Thus, the Andhra Pradesh batter might not make his Test debut in Bangladesh.
