Deepti Sharma provided magnificent performances for India with both bat and ball. She scored 215 runs in seven innings at an average of 30.71 and a strike rate of 90.33. With the ball, she finished as the highest wicket-taker, accounting for 22 scalps at an average of 20.40.
In the final, she scored a run-a-ball half-century. In their second innings, the 28-year-old picked up five wickets in 9.3 overs, giving away just 39 runs. She won the Player of the Series award for her all-round contributions during the campaign.
