6. Royal Challengers Bengaluru
Defending champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru finally lifted their maiden crown after an eighteen-year wait, due to the complementarity and performance of their bowling attack. They have retained the major core, but their situations and circumstances leave them in a bit of trouble. Josh Hazlewood is yet to be cleared after last playing in November, while Yash Dayal has been dropped from the squad, citing personal reasons. Bhuvaneshwar Kumar still exists as a beacon of experience, but their options outside him are dire.
Krunal Pandya and Suyash Sharma were a spin duo who bowled successfully in tandem, but the backups are more inclined towards the all-rounder. Players like Kanishk Chauhan, Vihaan Malhotra, Mangesh Yadav and Vicky Otswal are great prospects, but their combined lack of experience is telling.
