1. New Zealand- 9/10

Arguably the best side in terms of bowling line-up is New Zealand. On paper, the side certainly looks like a complete powerhouse, but this has also resonated well on the pitch. The ‘T’ factor in the squad has been very impactful in the big matches of the sport.

Against Australia, Trent Boult and Tim Southee picked five wickets between them. Moreover, Boult relished an economy 6.00 giving away only 24 runs in his four overs while Southee had an economy of just 2.77 with six runs given in his 2.1 overs.

Despite the track not favouring spin, left-arm orthodox Mitchell Santner picked up three wickets to his name. The side has a lot to offer on the pitch but have not got enough chances to back it up. Their previous match against Afghanistan was abandoned due to rain and the side will hope to keep up their levels both in terms of bat and the ball ahead of their forthcoming games.
