The ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2026 is well underway, and like any other multi-team tournament, the 30-day-long event has had a bunch of injuries to players already. A few players were ruled out of the marquee event even before the commencement, while a few got injured midway. Meanwhile, the United Arab Emirates' Muhammad Zohaib Khan was sent back home by the Emirates Cricket Board for quite an unusual reason.
Paul Stirling is the only captain to be injured on this list, as the Ireland cricketer pulled his hamstring during the team's opening match against Australia. India's Harshit Rana copped a blow to his knee during the warm-up fixture against South Africa, and the defending champions soon replaced him with the right-arm pacer Mohammed Siraj.
