Women’s Premier League (WPL) is back to entertain cricket supporters with its second season. At the same time, the Pakistan Super League (PSL) is also delivering superb cricketing action to fans of the sport, with its ninth edition. 

On one side, there are female cricketing stars such as Smriti Madhana, Harmanpreet Kaur, Ellyse Perry, and Sophie Devine. While on the other side, male cricketing icons such as Babar Azam, Kieron Pollard, and Shaheen Shah Afridi are lighting up PSL’s ninth season with their brilliance.

India Women’s Jemimah Rodrigues, who serves Delhi Capitals (DC) in WPL, was sold to the franchise for INR 2.2 crore. With this amount, the youngster is the most expensive player in the DC squad. Converting Jemimah’s WPL salary into US dollars, the amount will be more than 2,68,000.

Like Jemimah, Pakistan pacer Naseem Shah is also a youngster. In PSL, the star speedster plays for Islamabad United and comes under the Platinum category, which offers upto $ 1,70,000 to illustrious names in the league. Turning his earnings into Indian rupees, the amount will be more than 1.4 crore.
